Women's Ministries
C.W.F.: is a Christian Women's Fellowship formed in 1945. A place to be with Christian Friends, and meet new friends while worshiping to help the church and other missions.
S.O.S Sisters of Service:
SOS (Sisters of Service) started in the 80's. A fellowship group of women who worked during the day met in the evening once a month for fellowship, study God's Word and serve the First Christian Church locally and beyond. The group including retired and working ladies, moms and grandmothers, continues to meet the third Tuesday of each month at the church or at a members home at 7 p.m. Women are invited to attend our monthly meetings and join in the fun and fellowship.
Elm Creek Youth of God
ECYOG (Elm Creek Youth of God) from 7th grade through 12th meets weekly to worship the Lord, learn of Him, serve Him, and have great time. Our small group sometimes leads Sunday worship, they do local ministry outreach, provide help for other ministries, special music for Church, and even skits from time to time. ECYOG is on the cutting edge of what the Lord is doing in our midst.
The teens have a contagious passion for the Lord. It is refreshing and humbling to be in the midst of kids so on fire for the Lord.
The kids serve at a truly admirable level. Without ECYOG kids Awana, VBS, and Farmer's Market would be looking for help.
The kids reach out at an admirable level as well. Last winter the kids made and delivered cookies and gospel tracts to over 20 homes with the message, "God loves you".
What ECYOG lacks in numbers they compensate for in vitality, passion, service, and sincerity.
Children's Ministries
Awana: Wednesday club for kids age 3 to 6th grade with praise and worship, Bible stories, memorization, and game time. Learn about the Awana program here. Around 16,000 churches worldwide have an AWANA program. As a former AWANA kid I can tell you first hand, AWANA makes a difference. http://www.awana.org/
Sunday School: Biblical training with treats and fun for all ages.
Youth Group: Fun, friends and faith building for 7th to 12th grade.
