First Christian's Statement of Faith
A warm Place to Worship with a Circle of Friends
Here, at First Christian Church, we believe that:
The Bible is the unchanging, innerrant, authoritative word of God.
Based upon the Bible:
1.-God created all things
2.-Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Sipirit are God
3.-Peace with God is found only through Christ
4.-Salvation is by faith (trusting) Christ with our lives
5.-God saved us; we don't earn/deserve it.
6.-Followers of Christ submit to His command to be baptized.
8.-The church is one of flesh and bone; not many of wood and stone.
9.-Christ is the head of the church; He owns it; we are stewards.
10.-Leaders point to Christ, never themselves.
